Aluminum veneer and aluminum-plastic panel, as metal plate curtain wall materials that have been used for decades, have made significant contributions to our production and life. Aluminum veneer appeared earlier and was generally recognized and welcomed by consumers. However, in the 1960s and 1970s, aluminum-plastic composite panels appeared and quickly occupied part of the global market.
There are several main differences between aluminum veneer and aluminum-plastic panel:
The color of aluminum veneer can be chosen arbitrarily, while the color variety of aluminum-plastic panel is limited;
The life of aluminum veneer far exceeds that of aluminum-plastic panel;
The wind pressure deformation resistance of aluminum veneer is better than that of aluminum-plastic panel;
The construction process of aluminum veneer is much simpler than that of aluminum-plastic panel, and the cost performance of aluminum veneer is also higher than that of aluminum-plastic panel. At the same time, aluminum veneer is fireproof and easy to recycle without polluting the environment, while aluminum-plastic panel will produce toxic gas and cause air pollution once it encounters fire.
It can be seen that aluminum veneer is more suitable for people's application than aluminum-plastic panel. The application of the product should consider its own performance and market recognition on the one hand, and more importantly, it should look at factors such as the market and price. First of all, from the cost point of view, the price of aluminum-plastic panel is dozens of yuan per square meter, while the price of aluminum veneer is several times that of aluminum-plastic panel. Few customers can afford this high price. Secondly, from the processing time point of view, aluminum-plastic panels can be easily purchased on the market, while aluminum veneers have a more complicated manufacturing process and need to be ordered, so the waiting time is longer, which requires customers to make plans and place orders in advance after receiving the project. Thirdly, from the construction and installation point of view, aluminum veneers are accurately produced by manufacturers according to project drawings and do not require secondary modifications on site, while the production accuracy of aluminum-plastic panels is not that high during installation, but fortunately they can be modified on site.
