Oil Filling Machine Maintenance & Troubleshooting – A Daily Guide for Operators, Managers & Dealers
1. Introduction
Why does a small maintenance skip on you oil filling machine often lead to hours of unplanned downtime?
In the past eight years of serving overseas edible oil plants, we have seen the same pattern: over 70% of filling accuracy problems and dripping issues come not from machine defects, but from missing daily care.

2. Daily Checklist for Oil Filling Machine Operators
A great operator doesn't just push buttons – they read the machine’s “health signs”. Below is our daily checklist, with quantified standards and pass/fail criteria.
2.1 Clean nozzles and seals
Action:Flush each nozzle interior with 40°C warm water for5 seconds. Use a fine cotton swab to wipe the seal groove.
Normal:Swab comes out clean or with light oil film.
Abnormal: Swab shows black particles → seal ring is degrading. Replace within 3 days.
2.2 Check filling accuracy with a simple test run
Action: Run 10 consecutive fills into a graduated cup or on a scale.
Normal: Weight difference ≤ ±1g between the highest and lowest fill.
Abnormal: Difference exceeds ±2g.
2.3 Visual inspection of sensors and air hoses
Action: Wipe the photoelectric sensor with a dry cloth – never alcohol (alcohol + oil residue creates a foggy film). Blow with compressed air for 2 seconds.
Normal: Sensor detects bottles without missing or double triggering.
Abnormal:Red light flickers randomly → clean again or check alignment.
